Water Over and Under the Bridge

With all of the flooding on Clinton St, we should replace the Clinton
St bridge with one of these... http://engineeringworks.tamu.edu/?p=412

Great photo! However, the biggest part left out of the article is the location. This is located in Magdeburg Germany, near Berlin and joins former East and West Germany.

It looks absolutely fascinating! I don't have the time right now, but I'd love to search for more photos.

When I first saw the photo, it immediately reminded me of a much different, smaller bridge here in the Fort that at one point spanned the St. Mary's River and carried the Canal across. It was in the area where the railroad bridge now stands, off Main Street. Of course it wasn't as long and constructed of wood, but still. Pretty neat. And this new bridge is something I'd love to see in person.

Thanks for the post!
